Analysis Of The 2019 Polaris Ranger 570

2019 Polaris Ranger 570 Overview

The Polaris Ranger 570 has gotten mixed reviews from riders, and the 2019 edition is no different. Most owners of the 2019 Polaris Ranger 570 say that they love their machine and have had zero issues. It is dependable with plenty of power, able to go anywhere the 900 and 1000 Rangers go. And while it may not push you back in your seat or go as fast as the 900 XP when accelerating, you can easily reach top speeds of around 63MPH with an ECU reflash. Regardless, we’re going to get into the nitty gritty of the new 570 Ranger, giving you the good, the bad, and the ugly. So let’s dig in and go no holds barred on the 2019 Polaris Ranger 570.

Negatives Of The 2019 Polaris Ranger 570

Starting off with a few cons, many riders have expressed how bare the 570 is when you buy it. It definitely lacks accessories, but this reflected in its lower cost. Many riders also have bad opinions of the newer 570 due to bad experiences with older 570 models. A Polaris Ranger 900 owner we talked to told us -- with a biased opinion no doubt -- that the 900 was by far the better machine. He said that the 570 Mid-Size reminded him of a Chinese knockoff, and everything about it was very cheap. We’ve also talked to some people who vow to never own another strut suspension front end Polaris again, as it is prone to failure.

Although not particularly negative, we’ve also received feedback about bunk rectifyer plugs on the Polaris Ranger 570 as well as air box issues. Regarding the latter, it is suggested that you keep a close eye on the air box as dust can infiltrate it and which can destroy the motor. The basic issue is that factory air boxes -- at least on the 2018 edition of the Polaris Ranger 570 -- don’t seal 100%, so dirt/sand can get into the motre and cause it do degrade quickly. And while you can just seal it up, it’s a bit of a hassle and an unwanted chore, especially for a brand new machine.

Positives Of The 2019 Polaris Ranger 570

What could be considered as a negative, the narrow width of the Ranger 570 compared to it’s wider brethren is generally regarded as a pro. Especially among the hunting community, having a skinnier machine increases your rideable area, enabling you to squeeze through tight trails and thread the needle between close obstacles.

A friend of the site has both a 570 FS Ranger and a General 4 1000, and he loves them both. The Ranger is his workhorse and the General is a comfort, power, and a trail riding dream. In his words, “The Ranger 570 has never not had the power to do whatever I've asked it. Now acceleration and top speed won't push you back in your seat.”

And this is what most 570 owners are looking for. Something dependable, reliable, and powerful enough to go camping, fishing, hunting, and exploring. If you want to be pushed back in your seat like an astronaut during an Apollo mission, the 570 Ranger may not be for you. But if you want a solid machine that can get you where you need to go and is easy to maintain, you’ll definitely be happy with the 2019 Polaris Ranger 570.

If you’re considering the Polaris Ranger 500, thinking that it’s pretty much the same as the 570, think again. We talked to a gal who had a 2015 500 and hated it. Perhaps she bought it second hand or perhaps that year was just a bad year for the 500, but she later got a 2019 570 and told us it’s a completely different machine. “Spend the money and upgrade” she told us. That being said, we’ve talked to many other 500 owners who love their rig, and the price difference is a major factor for many riders when choosing which Polaris Ranger to buy.

Popular 2019 Ranger 570 Accessorizations

A lot of 570 owners like to rock out when they’re on the trail. Rockville speakers with a Planet Audio head unit, an amp, and some subwoofers will do the trick. But if you want something a little lower key, a boss/planet audio head unit mounted nicely on the dash can put out sufficient decibels.

A lot of riders have also come to us looking for 2019 570 Mid-Size Ranger doors. Just recently, Seizmik came out with a soft framed door, and SuperATV has some doors available for the 2019 570 as well. Polaris’ vented cab doors can work on the 2019 570, but their exorbitant price tag and inability to withstand scratching have left many riders disappointed.
