Polaris Ranger Harness OverRide Clip by DragonFire

All newer Polaris Ranger models now include a safety belt switch. This means that that the factory computer system knows when you’re not wearing your seat belt. If a belt isn't buckled, it will interrupt the ignition and limit it to a maximum speed of 5mph. This works great for stock seat belts, but it's not so great for aftermarket 4- or 5-point harnesses that don't use the stock belt clip.

DragonFire has designed this Harness OverRide Clip to close the open loop system and allow for you to use the full potential of your motor. No wiring skills required for this install. The safety belt switch on the newer Polaris Ranger models is great for ensuring the seat belt is safely buckled in before you start driving. However, the switch can become a hindrance should you decide to install four or five-point harness restraint systems in your vehicle. But since the harnesses you install don’t use the stock belt clip it causes the switch to interrupt ignition and limit max speed to 5mph.
