Universal not Polaris

Calling this Rough Country Light Bar a “Polaris Light Bar” is a real stretch. This is a universal light bar that can be mounted on any vehicle wide enough to carry the 50”. The instructions are universal, the wiring harness is universal and the switch is a simple On/Off switch. There is nothing in the kit that will plug to the Pulse Bar. After receiving it for Christmas, I ordered the EMP mounts and the XTC back lit rocker switch. (For those of you wondering if you can mount this light bar on a Ranger 1000 with the fold up/out glass, see my comments for the EMP mounting brackets. Which you will need.) I’ve also ordered a pulse bar plug to rewire the switch. The wiring harness is separate from the light bar. The light bar has about 4’ of wire with a cannon plug. Of course, the wire harness had a cannon plug to connect the two. The only issue is that there is no way the cannon plug is going to fit inside the A pillar. Therefore, I plan to remove the cannon plugs and hard wire the two ends so I can hide the wiring in the A Pillar. I’ve only hard mounted the light bar at this point. So, I have no comments as to how well the light bar works. I will probably temporarily wire it up just to make sure it works before I go cutting into the harness and rewiring the switch. But, I will say I am please with the light bar at this point.
